Module 03
Freezing Techniques
Do not cook daily. Utilize the concept of parallel processing: output double or triple the volume of a single recipe without increasing the active preparation time by a proportional amount.
The Flat Freeze Protocol
Liquid and semi-liquid assets (soups, sauces, curries) should be stored in silicone bags. Press the air out and lay them flat on a baking sheet until frozen solid. Once frozen, index them vertically like files in a cabinet. This yields a 40% increase in storage volume efficiency.
| Asset Type | Cooling Duration | Freezer Life Max |
|---|---|---|
| Liquid Broth Matrix | 1 Hour (ambient) | 6 Months |
| Cooked Grains (Rice/Quinoa) | Spread flat on tray | 3 Months |
| Blanched Vegetables | Ice bath immediately | 8 Months |
